Here’s a timelapse video of a full 4hr single session surrealism tattoo. We started from a photo of a film noir detective we both liked, then let it get organically weird from there. My client signed a waiver stating that he understood that neither of us knew what the finished outcome would be. He picked out several options like #running #dripping #adapting #evolving #dissolving #shifting #transforming There’s actually a lot more of the original photo in there than I thought I’d use, but the blinds and lighting were super cool already. The finished healed tattoo is shown at the end of the video. Is he a zombie? Android? Is his hat its own scene? Is this a hard boiled detective from an upcoming Last of Us set in the 20’s?
