Tattoos on the side of the foot

I'm planning on getting a tattoo of the words "Love is unconditional" on the outer side of my right foot. I have to work on my feet every weekday, and was curious about how long before I would be able to go back to sneakers as sandals and the like aren't very nice to be standing in too long for me. The more important thing I'm also wondering about is the aftercare. I have a very bad allergy to sulphur and the lotion they give you to put on tattoo's around where I live, and would be getting the tattoo, has sulphur in it. I'm wondering what it is I would have to use on it as I would need to stay away from sulphur at all costs. Any reccommendations would be greatly appreciated :)
