TattooNOW Sessions preview beta

Ok folks, this movie is a bit compressed, but lemme know how it works for ya and/or any thoughts! (and for the record, I didnt rip this idea off from josey)

ok, i'm just a collector/admirer of tattoos and a forum lurker....but i found this awesome! i'm unlikely to meet these guys so seeing them speak their thoughts was so much better than just reading an interview...i loved it! i'm gonna watch it a few more times a Q: does *Sessions* imply there will be more of these? like a running series?? i dont quite understand where this is headed, if anywhere....

Hey folks, thanks for the great feedback and words of encouragement! The TattooNOW Sessions project started as "oh @#$%, we have these amazing tattoo artists coming, we gotta tape em, quick chris, go get your cameras!". We now have 5-6 artists recorded and 1 edited down completely. We are planning on releasing 6 minute clips from the interviews every few weeks, and releasing a DVD of each interview. We seriously need to upgrade the video guys computer, so we are hacking through what we can when we can. Im hoping the trailer will generate a good buzz so we can pick up an advertiser or two and really get this project cranking. So, the short answers. Yes, this is going to be a series. When? Its spring now, we promised summer 07, we hope to seed the net with more clips in the next few weeks. We arent going to release Joe's until "mid-season" when theres a lull and people get bored, then wammo, we break out with the reinforcements. ha.

I've got to echo the previous posts. The videos are a great addition to TattooNOW.

Looks good. I dont know if im sceptical, but that cut to Carson saying "yeah, definetly", I could feel it was a answer to another question, if it wasnt, then there could have been maybe a longer reply. I know what you intended with the end, to make it come together and have that flow, but something was off. When you say that there will be DVD, will they be region free? And how about people that dont have tv:s? Could it be possible to download them for a fee from the internet? I hope theres stuff where for example someone like Carson will say what made him do this and this piece and tell more about the stuff that has to do with heart, rather than the tech stuff. But really good looking. Thanks Gabe and crew :)

I little notion. The video is on the place where you would usually see the new tattoos. It took me like couple of days to realise that "hey, I should click the tattoos button in case theres something new" well, there was :) Im not really bitching, just saying that could there be any other placve for it? Microvawe generation dont like looking around stuff, the want it ready served at there faces ;)

Hey, the preview passed a thousand views this morning, thanks for watching folks! We also found out that the premiere of the TattooNOW Sessions will be at the Hell City Tattoo Festival Sinema in Pheonix August 24-26. Many thanks to Durb and company for the amazing opportunity, its truely an honor! Ha, I guess we wont be slacking any now... I probably wont be posting as much till fall, ha.

What can I say! this is good. really good! it´s nice to heard some masters who talking about next step of industry. I´m from art/graphic designer and going to be a pro tattoo some day. It get time to reach there, but its same way what it takes as an designer...

I love these! This is such a great idea. Now I can't wait to see more.
