tattoo shop

My husband and I are investors. We have been approached by a well-known tattoo artist with 20 years plus of experience about opening up a tattoo shop. We would only handle the financial side of the business; we would own the property, do ordering, handle payroll, ect… The artist would have control of the floor. Does this seem foolish or can you make enough money to sustain a shop if you are not an artist? Let me know what you think, I would greatly appreciate any input you have. Thanks, Christa
as long as the person is truly honest and forthright and willing to do the foot work do inventory control advertising hiring of employees has great public relations is a good artist also willing to deal with all the headaches and rigaromore that goes with it like processing and making orders and all else entailed then you will or should make a reasonable return in your investment and profits.take me for instance i have been looking for a oppurtunity such as this for some time now.i have the management skills and desire and drive and knowledge to put forth to have a sucessfull shop.i have all needed supplies and equipment to get up and going just not enough cash to be put forth for couple months rent to get up and going.make sure you involve a attorney with the legalities of ownership and such so you are all on one page and everyone knows wher everyone stands.good luck on your venture towards this and if i can be of any further help just shoot me a e mail.(don)
I have a business plan prepared for a tattoo shop in Las Vegas, NV. I had funding in place and it fell through at the last moment. I have a building and an executed lease. I will not bore you with the details at this moment. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further. Todd D.
