Tattoo identity crisis

Here's an odd thought that's been running through my head...... I have a pretty damn cool tattoo on my upper right arm. It really sums up most parts of my personality. HOWEVER, it doesn't quite feel like it's actually a part of me. Weird, I know... It just feels like I slapped a sticker on there, and that's it. I have no idea what else to do with it, but I just really feel like there should be more to it. It is actually driving me freaking crazy. It just really feels incomplete....
any inputs on telling me that I'm not crazy and this happens to other people would be greatly appreciated. I kinda forgot to mention that. :o)
Nope you aren't crazy Val...and yes it happens to other people...its the Gods of Tattoo telling you in their own way that ya NEED MORE INK!!!!...T
but I have absolutely NO CLUE on how to go about making it not feel like a sticker!
Hmmm, I don't know on this one. I've seen the tat, and although I have no idea what it is, I think it's sexy as hell! I wouldn't screw with it. Remember TAz, when you yelled at me not to muddy things up? TCE
the big black part of it is what is driving me the craziest. it just feels like it's too harsh on my skin. I'm pretty damn ghost white, and i refuse to go out and get a tan.... i'm slowly beginning to not like it.....
Casper......................................and Lil' Puppet.
theval, if ya want, email me a pic of your work, I'll look at it and give you my imput (suggest NOT posting 'online'-thieves), oft times having a number of artist look at it can come up with numberous ideas, that's what we do, ma'm (watch that evil grin)...Doc
thanks, Doc. I'll do that. I am not overly sensitive, so tell me exactly what you think about it. I came up with the design on my own, and i'm pretty used to having my artwork critiqued.
theval, glad to hear you're gonna take me up on it and relax, I'm not looking to be a jerk, just trying to help...Doc
i already sent it to ya!
Theval, you just need more ink, or maybe you've outgrown your orig. idea. So just do what we tell everyone else on this forum and go talk to a custom artist and see what the possibilities are, silly girl!
D.R. I will eventually. I just happen to like you guys, and your ideas Doc, Did that e-mail make it to ya? I'm having issues with the e-mail these days, and I don't ever know if they got where they were supposed to be.. damn blasted servers. Anyhow, just let me know that ya got it. Don't have to look at it right away or anything like that.
Yes,theval, it came thru fine, got it on my 'to do list' and will email ya my suggestions/sketch of asap. Great pic by the way, which helps...Doc
Sweet. thanks. I'm just glad an e-mail went through. Doc, you really don't have to go all crazy like and do a sketch! But at the same time.... having something sketched by you would be pretty damn cool.. :o) It would get hung up on my design board above my desk.
Whatever you do Theval, I'm thinking it's starting to look like at LEAST a half sleeve to me.... You better start saving up. I don't think a real woman like you is gonna be satisfied with a little one. HAHAHA!!!!
crap.... i only want quarter sleeves....
:o)
Sure, you say that now, but I'm tellin' ya..... Might wanna think it over...
Theval, I'm not a tattoo artist or anything, but maybe you could go up over your shoulder more instead of down. That way you can maintain the length down your arm but still add to it. You could go in all sorts of directions, just over your shoulder, down your back, or even down your front. I don't know what you have, but it might work! Dana
