Spiderman/Venom tattoo?

Hi everyone, This is my first post so I'll try be and clear as I can. I'm interested in getting my first tattoo, I'm a huge comic book freak and I want Venom from the spiderman comics tattoo'd on my chest. Unfortunately finding the perfect Venom online to print off and take to the tattoo parlour is proving quite a challenge. Does anyone have any links of a Venom tattoo on someone's body or the location of some really cool Venom pics? Thanks Chris

Do you have any comics? haaha take one you like from there adn copy it on a copy machine and blow it up to the size you want, what i did with my first spidey tattoo.

woo! a tattoo idea i can get excited about (comic book junkie) ok. first, if i were you i would start looking for Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz, and Brett Breeding online to see if they've any of their work posted etc as they are the creators of the Symbiote Costume. After that I would look up David Michelinie & Todd McFarlane, for obvious reasons. next... if you've a great shop near you that sells backdated comic books, look for 'Secret Wars #8', this came out in the winter of 1984 -- it's venom/symbiote costume debut, then i would go and get a copy of Spectacular Spider Man (vol. 2) #5 (this was Dec. 2003). seriously, not just becasue they're awesome works, but also because you can see the progression. some things to keep in mind too, venom appeared in She-Hulk, Marvel Team-Up, Daredevil, and Darkhawk. 93 is when they started a series dedicated strictly to venom -- Lethal Protector, but there are many others. (the first just happens to be my fave). next you're going to tell me you want a Green Lantern tattoo..... or kabuki/faces of noh

oh i'm a junkie. i can't tell a lie. i worked at a comic book shop late nights (stock & clean up) for 'free' in nj.. by free i mean the night before new comic day (wednesdays) i would get to go through the shipments and and pick a few things here or there as my payment. but regardless. it was all worth the discount. i love my marvel. however! one day, i want to get some david mack-inspired work done on my calves. yep yep.

Any competent custom artist can draw that particular character in any pose ya want...if they can't then they are NOT a real custom artist!...T

i have the venom logo on my back be prepared for long sessions.

i spent 2 years looking for the best and detailed venom pic i could get my mits on. finally i got him tattooed on the inside of my right arm......with spidey at the top. just remember to keep in mind that you will expand your tattoo art on your body....keep room for other characters because i bet that you wont just stop with venom i didn't..... ebay online...pick the comic with the best cover art

Wow, this topic has been up for two years and not one mention of Mike Parsons? Really? He is THE guy for comic book tattos. His website is here: http://mikeparsonsink.com/ There is a Venom/Carnage piece he did on a guy's chest on the main page there, it is the best Venom tattoo I have ever seen. As far as art for the tattoo, check out deviantart.com. There is a ton of different fan art there, in all different mediums and styles.

Sweet idea for a tattoo. I thought I was original when I got the venom symbiote logo tattooed across my chest, ribs, and back. If you want a great picture to go off of, flip through the Maximum Carnage graphic novel, there are some great shots of Venom in it.

why dont you get one that looks like bit's off your skin has been riped off and you look like your venom underneth get your chest, back ,arms,and legs dun like that . that that would look so cool know what feck it am going to get that dun :)

I have Spiderman on my back now and will be getting Venom on my opposite shoulder within the next few months.
