Question for TCE...

Not Tattoo Related... (Dang) Dude, maybe I'm high, but I was show the other day, don't know if it was a concert, event whatever, but it was SHEILA E, and I'm not a drummer, but, is it me? Or was she a pretty incredible percussionist? I mean I know there's the Niel Pearts of the world, but I kinda believe that one of the jobs of Bass and Percussion is that they are rhythmic, and have a job... a job to sort of appeal to areas of the bod that guitar can't touch... you know, like primitive stuff. Somethin' deep... If that's the case, she had it covered, cause man, she was good! Is she still around? Am I high? does she suck?

That girl was the shit!! Yep bass is both a percussive AND a tonal instrument...Yours is waitin for ya pal ...I even bought you a case for it!!!!

Sheila E. IS a badass percussionist...........!..........she comes from a family of great percussionists........................most notably her father, Pete Escovedo. The fact that she's something to look at sometimes undermines the respect she receives for her musical abilities. Not only does kill on percussion, the girl can tear it up on a drumset with the best of them!!!!!! Well, almost.... TCE

I just accidentally flipped over to a late night show, and there she was... She looked hot, she played hot, and she had about as much energy as anyone I've ever seen in my life. She was like AMAZING. Wondered if it was just me... Please, please tell me Prince never slept with this one. She just seems to have so much more class than that...
