Products Used In The Process

I am an artist of only two years and am wondering what sort of products everyone uses while tattooing to ease redness, swelling, bleeding, etc etc. I've heard of bactine, tried using it and although it seems to help a bit not really enough for me to be convinced. Just wondering what it is that everyone uses to get such wicked pictures immediately after completion. Thanks
