because hes on da welfare ..nanny nanny boo boo!!!!
Hey K-man...are you still usin the traditional clip chord or have ya gone to the rca jacks yet?...After getting Robs machines I have switched all my machines to rca...Eikon sells a nifty little kit for conversion and its cheap!...I notice a definate difference...better contact I guess...THANKS ROB!!!!!!
3 of my machines are RCA and the other 7 are still clip cord. Believe it or not, the conversion was easy, and Radio Shack has everything including the cable, and its a very cheap conversion. The 3 I've been using have given me no problems what so ever, and I've been using them somewhat steadily for about a year.
Krystof, about two weeks brother mabey three,I'll be in touch to go over some details.I've been busy with home and machine building.Last night was family game night,I sanded and polished a frame during a heated game of YATZEE with m wife and kids.(I lost )But it was fun and the frame looks pretty good.
P.S. RCA connectors are a superior connection when compared to a clip cord!
Whoooo Hooooo!!! Yatzee!!!
Ya no it's hot when playing Yatzee makes you sweat!

Well now that I got away from the shop......
HELL YA.... Rob did one KICK ASS job on my shader and can't waaaiiiittttt for that liner!!! 4.8V 200 stokes per second.....now thats one fassstttt ass machine!!!! Or the sound of a really piss bumble bee!!! arrrrhhhhh git that fugger off me...(swingin wildly in the air)

OK rob, i've been arguing the whole RCA connection thing with you since you first took on people to try your machines.
today my machine started running like shit and it's the holes my clip cord gose into.
so i think i gonna switch over to RCA or mini jack.
man i have a small file that i use on those holes but it ain't
doing the trick.
anyone have a good way to clean those.
I just replace at a buck and a half but now there is no need since I switced to rca jacks!
well i could replace the binder but there is also the ground hole behind the spring saddle.
You can always drill the ground hole and put a spring pin in it.But the smart choice is some kind of positive conection.Think about it:lose battery connections on your car-sometimes it starts sometimes ya gotta give it a wiggle. You'll notice that your machines will run a slightly lower voltage plus more consistant no more stutering and hick-ups.I like RCAs but almost any type of DC power connector or mono audio connection should do.Try it you'll like it!
Damn, that one turned out Super Nice!!! Can't wait for mine; if I gave you a design for it, could you work with my frame idea?
No problem,I'm on vacation next week.I'll swing by and see ya.Mabey even get out for a bike ride?
Weather Pending, Hell Yeah! I'm off on Sundays.
Speaking of which, Gabe, is your scoot put back together yet?

nice machines... The people on here that own them all say wonderful things. If I may ask do you cut all your own springs, and wrap your own coils. I've been experementing with bigger core / smaller gauge wire as of late... I'm starting to really dig on the next gen half coil style... Idk there are so many possibilities... When I buld another set of machines I'll throw up some pics... Maybe I'll have to pick up a coloring machine from you.. I could always another shovel ;)....
Nice machines...
Email me,ya got the wire thing backwards.Next gen is up on there shit.
Sevendown...the machines he made me...my prize possesions by the way...all have handwound coils and the tops are made from coins...look sooo fuckin cool and they run like demons!!! If ya need a shovel give ol Hotspark a try...but be warned...these machines are addictive!!! And Rob is just one of the best guys you'd ever want to meet.....( don't get a big head Robby ya fuggin Yank!!!)
Oh yeah...and he only charges $150 to build a machine to YOUR specifications...the best machines I have ever owned and in 35 years of tattooing I have owned one of about everything out there> So give em a try you will love em!!!...TAz
I make everythig buttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt springs(that's next)and a-bars annd springs oh ya an screws

Drooling Bump!
Can you see me now?
Hey Rob!!!
Hey Taz, how are ya doin? Those machines holding up alright for ya?
I never use anything else man !!!!
Sha-wing!
Are they all left handed machines? I know it doesn't really matter but the side plate is generally on the other side.
I'll make them right or left, whatever you want.
Bump for Rob.... I promise I will email you on myspace sooner or later!
Are they available in any sort of custom colors? I'm thinking getting my wife a couple as a gift as her old !@#$% is ready to give out and I think it's about time she gets some real hardware now that she's in a shop.
I'll paint them doody brown if you want ;)
My wife prefer a nice metallic purple.
You got it, just shot me an email and let me know how SHE like 'em to run.
HOTSPARKS FOR FUCKIN LIFE !!
Hi Rob!!!
And guess who has the first 5 ever built?.....ME ...H8TRS!!!!
Ooopse, hey hotspark, nice meeting you the other day too! I'll get my bike on the road after we get a house I think... First, paying the bills regularly, then graduating to land-owner, then step into the past and get on the road legitimate-like again... patience...
So Rob... Did you get the e-mail from my wife's shop yet or do I need to light a fire under them?
TAZ... I've hopefully got 2 on order for my wife... just getting him her shop's details. I'll post pics when they come in.
She is gonna LOVE em K man!!
bump!
They're commin'.Be patient, this is a hobby of mine.I'm on all kind of beer and reefer fueled missions.1 month-6weeks,like I said and she'll have 'em.
Did I just say that out loud?
I get off work tomorrow for about 4-5 weeks so it a month long Butter Shots and Dr. Pepper, w/ a side o' greens mission for me too. (Actually going to be working on a home theater project designing a new of custom projector screen)
I've been reading about these, and would love a solid liner for larger stuff. I'm running paco machines now and just ordered some teds, and think these sound solid. How far out is the waiting list or is he keeping one?? I have a couple shovles and some nice liners/grey machnes, but I'm looking for a washwork machine and the larger liner to run fast pace. You do those? I run UVAC tatt over here, been working for quite a few years, haven't seen one of these other than on line, and sounds and looks impressive. I'll have to email for a number to call. Also recently converted to RCA where I can run clip or rca, and rca has it hands down in my book. I've run the same machine, same set up on both within a session on another artist doing trade work to play, and the rca is very consistant compared back to back. Wasn't an advocate out of habit, but after the change over, wouldn't go back.
I'll take orders as long as you can be patient.I've been working on an old(1890)FE Reed lathe, and just got it going. Now I can make all the little baubles at home:D.I've got some local guys who have been waiting very patiently, they're first(I'm ready for some tattoo work)so I need to take care of them if you know what I mean.
