Hi I am also wanting a tatoo in Latin writing, I haver been searching the net and have not found anything. Did you have any luck? If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, I need 'verity'
A latin font? Something like the basic Times New Roman would work. They mostly used simple block letters with or without serifs. Just remember that some of the letters were written a little differently, like using V's instead of U's.
I'm a Latin word junkie. Can't really help with font types (my tattoo artist knew what to use) but I would say do a Google search for Latin phrases. You will get pages. I would then find something you like and compare the spelling on a few other Latin pages just to make sure it's solid spelling (grammatically correct).
I have recently become mildly obsessed with latin phrases. Wilkipedia has a full list of latin phrases. Some of them are ridiculous but a lot of them are pretty meaningful.
looks like you guys all came up with something original. wow!
The original poster was looking for a Latin "FONT" not a pjrase or words or even translation...I believe he is actually looking for a tradiitinal ROMAN font
talk to a pope im having the same problem
Is Latin the new Kanji? Most of the latin stuff I see reminds me of the scene in Python's "Life of Brian" where Cleese as a Roman soldier corrects Brian's grammar...Latin grammar is very specific..so beware.
Try www.tattoofonts.net they have hundreds of fonts.

I know Latin (and Greek) and I would be glad to help. Please don't get something put on your body before you know if it is correct. I have seen TONS of Latin phrases that are conjugated/declined wrong, or they blatantly have the wrong vocabulary. Email me with what you want to be translated. Consider something from the ancient texts though... it makes the most sense if you want to use that language.
I'm still around (but changing my email address)--I posted this entry below. I've gotten a lot of requests for translations and I'm happy to respond to more.
