How does this sound?

This is the tattoo I want but I haven't seen anything online like it. Which is good but I want to get a better idea of what I should ask for. I want to get a tattoo of a lion and a snake. It basically stands for Leo + 1977 (The Year of the Snake). Anyway, I think the snake should wrap itself around the lion but not sure what would look the best. Has anyone ever seen something like this or have a better suggestion?

I live right outside Washington D.C. So there are a few artists on that list I could speak with. Right now I'm just trying to brainstorm on ideas, so that when I speak with the artist, I have a pretty good feel for what I want. Because right now, I am picturing 3 different ways to do this, on 3 different places.

There are some great tattoo artists in yer area. the tattoo idea sounds great, if you have a few ideas its best to bounce them off the artist you pick. Give them all three and see what catches their attention. You can go with a few different styles, traditional american and/or japanese, new skool, realistic, color, black and grey, etc, etc. I prefer bold bright colors myself, but all styles have their merit. What are your favorite tattoos?
