free sample tattoo ink

free sample set of intenze tattoo ink just go through the process and when it ask how to pay click pay by phone and bam you will have it in about 5 days http://tattoosuperstore.com/
I use Intense Inks only! I hope this is not a scam. But now sterilized ink...hmmmm
Crav,no, it's not a scam, Intenze does come in 'sterilized' packets, I was given some samples by a local supplier and I guess it is a good concept overall. Aside from the fact they are a bit 'wasteful' if you don't need as much ink as comes in the packet for the particular tattoo, I can't help but wonder just how they supposedly sterilize it in the first place (if it's not just a 'sales gimic' in the first place) The supply peddler who gave me the samples couldn't answer that when I asked him and said he'd check and 'get back' to me with the info but that was at least 2 months ago and still no info provided. Just thought I'd put that out there for folks to think about..Doc
Doctor John I had heard rumors about 4-6 months or so ago about being able to double boil ink in order to achieve sterilization but maybe I"m way off on this or maybe it was just a system somewhat like double boiliing. Hell I just remember having a conversation with someone about it. I was still the practicing kitchen magician and wondering what shops did in order to guarentee sterile pigments never did come to any conclusive information about the process. Did find a few shoddy recipes for making your own pigments at home with what was it listerine , the old clear kind , and possibly real potatoe vodka or some wack shit like that lol who knows may have been some truth to it all but these aren't my worries anymore. I do know that anyone posting here has a world of resource at their fingers and it surely wouldn't be too complicated to find out.
In 'the old days' it was fairly common to double-boil the ink but it was to remove the shellac and/or other impurities in the inks used at the time, I don't recall anyone thinking it 'sterilized' the ink. Sad fact is, I guess we trust suppliers to put out safe products and try to stay with 'tried and true'. I've long been slightly paranoid about 'new' so I wait 'til it's been out/used for awhile, contact the manufactures and request a known artist who uses it, then contact THEM for their opinion before I put my clients and my rep on the line, especially nowadays with so many 'new' products, especially pigments. Seems like everyone is building a better mousetrap, if you catch my drift? Does anyone know how to supposedly sterilize tattoo 'ink'? I'm truly curious...Doc
hey all I have to say that I've been using intense for a few months and love it. The yellow and white are my fav colors, they grip right away. Hey Doc are the freebies ink shots?
Crav, ain't sure what you meant by 'ink shots' but the single use things are plastic coated things with a rip tab for opening- the same as those advertised. The samples I was given don't have any writting on them, just an 07 stamped on the back. Don't know if that helps any, best I can do...Doc
Yeah those are the ink shots. little 1/2 or 1/8th ounce jobbers. Technical used to send them to me on occasion for the fuck of it when I was ordering from them. Enough to play with I guess. I had stuck with the milleniums. But I had to use the shot on the fake skin a few times. And dude's right the yellow's nice I may still have a few of them laying around. And I understand what you mean about the reinventing process. Last time I was looking at ink I think the dermaglo? or whatever the hell it was, from the UK, claimed to be non toxic. not sure how that works I'm not a pigment specialist , hell i'm not even a tattooist. I just figured all inks contained the base minerals that most artists have used for color since god knows when. As far as the shots being sterile, I think that status could only belong to the packaging. Basically I think they'd be hinting around a bit at their new and improved sterilization procedures for the ink itself if that were the claim. This is a damn interesting topic though If I find anything out i'll be sure to post.
Doc, those thins are called ink shots :)
The actual problem with inks is not the content itself, instead, the bottle and dirty artists...what do I mean by that? most artists protect everything but the bottles, and when they pour ink , they do it with those dirty gloves, (cross contamination) If we can't trust the pro brands, that ink is in sterile conditions, then we shouldn't be tattooing. Another thing: The minute you unseal your bottle and becomes in contact with the air, there it goes your sterilized ink.
This is legit. Mario Barth's website has a link to follow that takes you to the order page. Another thing to keep in mind is the contributions Mario has made to bettering the industry. I doubt he would put his name on something with a seal of approval if it were bogus. I am partial to Starbrites myself, but I may dabble with Intenze a little bit for select pieces. This is my first time trying my hand with them, but I have heard favorable things about them. I could see if it were a garage/kitchen based operation that inks were coming from, I would be a bit more apprehensive about buying let alone using on someone. Coming from Mario it's another story.
See, even an 'old timer' can learn something new, as now I know what an ink shot is, thanks, makes sense come to think of it (DUH) And I'd have to say, I think it's more likely the unsafe practices of the 'artist' rather than the inks. I've seen it at conventions from 'artist' I'd have expected to know better (selecting/pouring ink w/contaminated gloves on) like it would be so difficult to change gloves first (before you touch the ink bottles) Personally, depending on the size/complexity of the tattoo, I either pour the inks when I set up or change my gloves before I touch the inks and have certainly never thought it was 'too much work'. By the way, I was informed that the way they 'sterilize' ink is by using 'Gamma Ray sterilization' but haven't done the research yet to know just how effective that really is nor am I any too sure it's really necessary if the pigment is mixed safely/properly in the first place. Contamination has to start someplace, it doesn't breed itself...Doc
Hey all! Well I checked out the site, thaught i'd get me some free ink samples..... Its only available to us residents! I think it is a big consperecy to bring Canada down!! lol Have a good one all Baker sendz...........
this is tom jr from Tommy's Supplies. If you go on our website www.tommyssupplies.com you will see that we sterilize all of our Starbrite Colors. After we bottle our inks we send it out to be sterilized. it goes through a heat ray lamp that zaps right through the bottle and removes any kind of bacteria, if any.But before being able to sterilize our inks we had to go through a one time process of getting our inks tested to make sure it was safe to go in human skin which all of our colors passed.the process of being tested took about 6 months for them to take samples and send them to a lab where they were to be tested. We have spent alot of time and effort to make our inks as safe as possible. hope i could have been much help tom
Tommy, while I'm not trying to come on like an asshole, I'm curious about what you said in your post. See, I'm an 'old timer' and I've never heard of any reliable 'heat ray' that can actually sterilize anything, unless you mean Gamma Ray sterilization that I just recently read up on. I'm not implying you are lying or anything, I'm just saying I've never heard of it and if it does exists, could you forward more information about it so I can check it out? Kinda the same for the pigment testing as that too is something I'd sure like to hear more about . I know there's been some legal action against pigment companies and it will probably result in some of the 'ingredients' being changed/dropped.But except for 'independent labs' I've never heard of pigments being tested and would truly welcome any/all information regarding same. As an Tattoo Artist who tries to 'stay on top' of things like this, I would certainly appreciate any further info you might provide...Doc
john yes it is gamma ray sterilization and i will dig up my paperwork as soon as i get a chance for the testing.i do have the paperwork for the gamma ray sterilization.if you like i will send you that for now till i go through my files and get the test rsult sheets.can you email me your email address at [email removed].i also was not being an asshole its just everyone has something bad to say about all ink no matter what kind intenze, millinium, starbrite, etc...What im getting at is you can have a good product out there for over 10 years and one porblem happens so someone is eager to pinpoint fingers just because the reporters wrote a story off information from some other persons opinion which doesnt necessarily mean that person is telling the truth.we all need to work together and make the tattoo industry as safe. thank you tom jr
Ill step in on this one. Tommy Jrs. Father was probably THE pioneer in getting Inks sterilized! Both the Starbrights AND the Iron Butterfly ink is Gamma rayed as far as I know. I know how long it took to get thier Inks tested and up and running, not to mention the extra expenses of shipping the stuff here and there for sterilization etc etc. These two are probably the only two inks Ive used or will use for quite some time. This is NOT^ to say that others arn't doing the same. Just that they have my confidence and I need to look no further nor experiment. The other thing is starbright has been around a long time and most of its colors have stood the test of time. A new color ink may look GREAT on application but have no light fastness at all. This has been a unsolicited testimonial. Tommy, Ill be up tomorrow to pick up my free ink. 16 oz. bottles please. :)
Tommy, thanks for the responce and not taking my concerns the wrong way. I can appreciate what you said about how some people badmouth various inks as I've been around for 'awhile' and long ago learned the wisdom of 'consider the source' and I don't really recall ever hearing any negative shit about your product, in fact, know a few who swear by your inks. Although I've only tried a very few of yours, can't say as I ever had any reason to complain but I'm the cautious type and tend to stick with what I've used but I also know that doesn't mean what I'm used to is automatically the best. And, as you know, seems like 'everybody and their brother' is coming up with the 'best inks today'. And we both know some of it is crap, which is 'why' I'm so cautious, my rep and clients are 'at risk'. I sincerely respect the fact that you are willing to prove what you state about your product, that shows me a lot. And Paleo, thanks for 'stepping in' with what you stated, sounds like a valid endorsement to me, thanks for the 'heads up'...Doc
I would like to recieve a sample of your ink products. I would also enjoy a price list please.
I am in no way an ink maker but have been tattooing for a while now. From fairwether to waverly ,starbright, intenze, dynamic millenium ect. there all not very different some a different viscosity some may be more transperant i dont want to name names in a negative light but for the most part they all work well and are really more about what works better for the style or way you approach your tattooing. As fare as sterlized inks i can see that going the wrong way as fare as when you tattoo at a convention you will have to use them type inks which makes you do something that benifits the ink makers financially and maybe not the artist especially when you have most your pallet colors mixed in your ink bottles before you ever sit down to tattoo. In the end if you are clean your clean if your a dirtbag your a dirtbag an artist that cares for there clients dont cross contaminate stuff. The ink shots would be cool only if there not forced on us in the future.
dunno how u got free samples from these guys but if you can help me get some id appreciate it m8 ive tried the website n its got nowt bout free samples
this better not be bull shiiiiit

this would be great to sample new products
i have been tattooinf for 12 years and had never had any issues with intenze, millnium, starbright, or kuro sumi. then last month a bottle of intenze's dragon's blood dark grey shading ink was sent to me thru cam supply via ups. well, somewhere along the way the ink was contaminated. i had past problems with bottles coming open and leaking during shipping (it was actually a replacement bottle i received after recieving an open bottle from them) well the replacement appeared fine. no leaking or damage. then all of a sudden, everyone tattooed with that ink, including on guy who was tattooed with it the very day i received it got a bacterial infection. my autoclave is tested regularly, my needles are all brand new, and i am very careful and partiular about preventing cross contamination. only those with that particular ink were affected, and only on the part of the tattoo where that ink was used. all the lining and coloring healed up just fine. i am currently working with the texas health dept after i volintarily reported the incedent myself to them. they assure me that they will be contacting intenze products and cam supply to trace down the exact contamination source.
Gamma sterilization is not required YET in America, but it's required in Europe. We spent the last 2 years going through hell complying with the Dutch governments criteria and finally received certifications for most of our colors, though they still won't let us use red 170 azo 12475, which is curious because azo reds have least case of reaction. What's even more mind blowing is they do approve Napthol red 12485 which takes at least a month to heal on me, but doesn't go fugitive. This new criteria and sterilization procedure is part of the reason the cost of tattoo ink has risen form $6 to $7.50 a bottle on average for name brands in the last couple years, not including the fact that raw pigment material and dispersion fluids are skyrocketing in price in a very unstable market. What's made it even harder for us in particular is I started adding double the pigment load to our newest batches due to many complaints from customers, plus all the bad rap I've read online. This being said I'm spending endless sleepless hours and money trying to repair Skin Candys image in product improvement and offer replacement inks free of charge for those who have had problems with Skin Candy in the past. Give us a call if you wanna bitch us out, or have any questions, my wife does it daily, so I'm used to it. 818-567-1848

the only correct way to sterilize tattoo ink is to use a gamma ray sterilizer. this is the only way and the correct way double boiling will not that will still be cross contamination when bottling.

I have a tattoo shop in Dominica So please I would like to try your ink please
Not to be a buzz kill but im pretty sure for all you people interested in the "free" ink samples that are "new" to tattooing (im assuming you mean new as in tattooing at your house) that you HAVE to be working at a licenced shop and for good reason...you without any proper apprenticeship should absolutly not be tattooing at your buddys house or any house for that matter. This keeps the general population safe from unsafe practices you will be doing on them such as cross-contamination for which you have no experience with the proper procedures....take it however you want it but no apprenticeship and no bio hazardous certification and you shouldnt be touching anyone with a needle at all
I would like to receive some free samples of your ink and needles.

Hey i just started my tattoo shop and i was wondering if you could send me a free sample of your ink because the ink my wife purchased sucks horribley and i bet yours is better but im not buying in mass quantity again until i see how good it is im already $249.95 down the drain on bad ink and dont wanna do it again.
I just want free tattoo ink
All top brand inks are practically the same pigments with different pigment loads and different carriers. They are all good and will provide a long life bright tattoo if you the artist can tattoo good. The same pigments are going under the skin, its the artist that puts them in that determines the outcome, so if your tattoos look like shit and you are using quality pigments, its you ,not the inks. Ive been tattooing 14 years and in that time have done enough experimenting to know that bad tattoos come from bad artists, not so called, inks that suck. Stick with one that works easiest in the skin for you and keep it up till you get it to heal right. The explosion of the tattoo industry, without proper technique being used is the problem. Not the inks.keep practicing and learning sterile technique and proper aplication or seek out an aprenticeship, and stop bombing the ink!
Wouldn't love same ink love tattooing
