I've been testing and working on new ways to control tattooing in a more accurate.
I made my models available not too long ago with 1-1/2 t-caps coils and from the few dozen machines sold with this setup I just keep hearing good thing about them.
This setup will deliver power at low voltage with ease resulting in an even and smooth coverage of pigment with less trauma (40 grams less of weight too). I've been using these machines for a couple of months and I'm really happy with the outcome.
I recently built a custom suite of FK machines with 1-1/2 coil machines for my pal Tony with Iraqi currency (photo of sadam) and here is the photoshoot.
Thanks for looking

what does a liner weigh?
the small liner at the bottom, i mean.
I recently purchased the pyro liner its perfect on weight . I never picked up a macine (out of the box ) and it work better than i could dream of.Its like He took out of my mind what would be a perfect machine an bam!! there it was. The performance on these machines well if you use one you will sell your others and never look back. The zen shader , I bought He set it up with the 1 1/2 coils. It runs so low you would think there would be no way it would push ink . But amazingly it pushed 9 mags as easily as 5 mags . My black and Grey has Never been this smooth. this machine has such a wide range because it will pack color in ultimately solid at the same low amp/speed. Youll kick yourself if you dont buy these . I plan on buying the other two machines he offers with the 1 1/2 coil setup. THis rant and raveing comes with a great deal of using every thing from Mickys to neuma air to swiss rotarys to many other coil machines (looking for the magic) over 15 years well finally found it in fk irons.
Nostril:
the Pyro at 8 wraps weight 6.35 Oz if I am not mistaken. Is the lightest machine followd by the Exactor. Zen and Galaxie weight the same (7.35 oz)
I got to double check, I shipped everything I had to build for the day,
Tomorrow I'll weight one up for ya when I build more orders.
very interesting. i think we can do business soon. i'll holler on the phone when i get some of the crap i need to do done.
Cool man, Info is on the site http://www.fkirons.com
Out of curiosity, Where do you work?
i'll drop you an e-mail.
FK the 1.5 Galaxie rocks! Thanks. The word is being spread out about your new setups.
I'm coming back for the Pyro Liner in a week and people at the shop are fighting over my new toy.
My color work has taken a 360º turn.
Thanks
Darren.
I just did my first tattoo with the FK Irons I bought (a Pyro cutback liner, a Zen set up for soft black and grey, and a Galaxie set for solid color packing) and I have to say I am in love with them. I have been using a Soba Pilot liner and a custom bulldog shader built by Buzz Machines, both of which are great machines, but they have nothing on Fallen King's.
The Pyro runs so smooth and quick at under 6 volts that you wouldn't believe it. The first machines I ran were generics from TTS, total pieces of crap. I noticed an instant improvement in my lining the first time I used the Soba. Well, I noticed the same thing with the FK. Not necessarily the same drastic difference, but you can definately tell the machine runs smoother and at less volts.
The Galaxie colors like a sharpie at less than 6 volts with a 9 Mag, one pass solid color, and you can really tell that there is less trauma to the skin.
I didn't use the Zen tonight, but I'm sure it will be a pleasant experience too. I have been saving to buy some custom machines from Kave Metal Works, but I am rethinking that. I just don't think I will need to buy any more machines for any other reason than for collecting them. Thanks again FK, I am extremely happy with my purchase, worth every penny.
I second that too.
Amen to those 1.5 coils.
I purchased a Galaxie a few weeks ago and since then I haven't touched any of my other shaders.
1.5 Revolution! None of the machines I own have so much attention of details like this FK does. Shading with a Galaxie is like brush painting.
I am ordering an Exactor this month as soon as I get my tax refund.
Salud FK!
hmmm interesting, i tend to build up my lines and a low voltage liner sounds pretty cool. I have also been wanting a new color machine i currently have next gens been thinking about getting a pulse solution, how ever i havnt been to keen on the weight of those machines. Does the galaxy hit pretty hard,
Hey Pal,
All my machines can be setup to hit how you want it.
The 1.5 setup will give you great results for all type of works with any frame.
I am lately shipping this setup, people who bought it come back for more.
The beauty of this setup is that your machine will push ink at a very low voltage with ease.
The Galaxie has a great geometry and balance.
I recently built one for a Galaxie for Ami James and told me the other day that he loves it and takes it to all his trips.
I am building a set of 1.5 for Brandon Bond as well.
Too many orders, one man behind the magic :)
me too, tried a bunch of machines before. I bought 2 machines from FK and since then my old gear is just collecting dust. Once you go FK Irons you won't go back.

Been using a pyro for just over a week, i now dont use any other machine to line with, i cannot praise it enough. wish i had more FKI machines.Arrive promptly (im in Australia) great service, machine was packed well, came with certificate, numbered, amazing quality. Brilliant!
Got the machine!!!... Man, that baby is BEA-U-TIFUL!!!... Runs & looks fantastic!!! Low voltage... turn it up & hits like a mutha.
The style is so perfect, 100% my taste... Worth the wait man... Thanks a lot!
Fallen Kings machines run fantastic. I have one of his old handmade shorty liners which the owner of my shop constantly "borrows" from me and one of his full coil Galaxy Shaders. I tend to have a slightly faster hand, so he set it up just a bit faster than a usual shader for me. It runs fantastic, and has become my most used machine. It's set up for color, but it runs so smooth, I've been putting some nice b&g down with it. I'd definitely recommend them if your looking for a great daily driver. They are great workhorse machines. I'm looking into picking up one of his 1.5 setups in the next month or so. Anyone notice a big difference between his full coil machines and the 1.5s?
I've had my Zen color packer just over a week now.I asked FK to set up to hit hard,a machine that wouldn't balk at let's say tribal in difficuilt to do areas, the machine laughs at solid color work.At 4-1/2 volts it's relentless you can't stop it with your thumb.I'm going to give it a whirl at a lower voltage to see how it goes soft & steady. The machine is well balanced and pleasing to the eye,the "Zen" is colemanesque in appearnce and is clearly made by someone who cares.I can't imagine any respectable Tattooer not being impressed by one of FKs machines.
i picked up a pyro liner. solid piece of equipment. very happy!1695143
Nostril what was your name in the order? I would have charged you double, LOL j/k
I'm glad you are happy with the machine.
Holla if you need anything else.
Tip for Pyro Buyers:
The Pyro ships cutback (shorter top spring)
It's best suitable for a short to mid stroke liner.
However I've been shipping several Pyros with a conventional 18G top spring for long stroke configurations. I'm myself use both and the conventional setup will give you a liner that will put solid lines like the cutback with a longer stroke.
Also I have been experimenting with the exactor and Zen with 1.5 configuration with a 33uf and 22uf cap. Amazing results. This setup is now available for liners as well.
i suspected i might have to pay asshole tax if you knew who i was, so i got a friend at another shop to get it for me. lol. no worries, tho, i'm legit.
Hey FK, I ordered the Pyro like a month ago, it's set up as Shader with 16 front & 18 back springs, but still hits kinda hard, even I'm running at 4 volts... Supposed to be like this? I have a Next Generation with 18 top & 20 back but hits much softer? Please advice.
You could do several things and test results:
a)Soft springs-low voltage. Put a soft read spring 16g and 16-18G top
b)The opposite. Harder springs-higher voltage. Try a 20G in the back and 18G top.
Make sure you don't over bend your back spring this will give you a harder hitting machine. Make sure the top spring doesn't have a bend angle greater than 35º.
Test Test!. I have a Pyro shader setup with 16/16 throughout and runs smooth at low voltage. Sounds a little loud but love the result.
Remember that the pyro is a shorty so don't go by the book and try diff things.
Flip Tat otherwise send it to me and I'll tweak for you at no charge.
Never bought machines that ran this smooth.
I bought a Galaxie from FK and an Exactor cutback liner.
I can't see myself tattooing with anything but this machines from now on.
They are addicting. The 1.5 coil setup rules.
just bought a pulse machine, next on the list is an fk.
heard nothing but good things.

I've got machines from some of the best builders around and FK irons is at the top of the list. The machines run smoother than any I've ever used. Gaston knows what he's doing. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
Recently got my Zen 1.5 to pack color. I am completely sold on FKIrons and I plan to pick up a liner really soon.
It's such a sturdy, well built, quality machine - which also makes it visually attractive. I am pleasently surprized at how light it is compared to some of my other machines. I've never had a machine pack color this fast and everything you read on the www.fkirons.com site is true. They really are easier to use and cause less trauma.
I am lucky to have some really great machines but once I get the full FK arsenal, the others will be back ups.
1.5 Revolution - Holla
I used to be a Mickey Sharpz user until Gaston Introduced me to FKs. All I use now the rest is history.
Hey FK watsup!
I just got ur AL13 proton machine and really happy with it!!I ordered it as a soft shader, but I see you've used the same spring set-up on it as you've used on the AL13 ZEN colour packer(20/18)why is that??
Hey man FKI!let me just say wow!!!amazing machines, truelly are!!
I just got your AL13 proton soft shader(loving it!)But I was a lil suprised wen I saw you used the same spring set-up for your ZEN colour packer(20/18)I wouldve thought you would used a 18/16?don't have a problem with it I just like to know and understand why...haha so if you could explain a lil me I would really appreciate it?
