APPRENTICE WANTED

My name is Jason Haney. I own a company called BADBRASS with my best friend. I am currently seeking an apprentice to not only learn how to tattoo but to understand everything from basic tattoo theory and origin through to advanced machine building and making advanced tattoo techniques through myself and all the other artists who I come in contact with on a daily basis. For the past two months I have been on the road now I need help and I am willing to help someone. REQUIREMENTS -must have valid drivers liscense -must be EXTREMELY motivated -must be willing to learn from your mistakes -must be willing to listen -must be willing to devote large amounts of time -must have own reliable transportation -all ages welcome -must be able to prove at least basic artistic ability(you will learn the rest) This is a serious apprenticeship. It requires at least a 2 year committment depending on your motivation and speed in which you absorb knowledge. What a great oportunity.. and these people are serious artists with a great rep...but ya know what really sucks about this?...with all the people askin every day for an apprenticeship they will be lucky to have 3 serious applicants!...Larry B at tattoo city also posted for an apprentice and he said he had something like ONE serious person apply...its sad...so sad!

Taz you're right, it is sad. we have tons of idiots asking for apprentaships ans then the chance of a life time pops up and they just ignore it. like i said in a post, if you really want it then you'll do what ever it takes.

Man, these only give me hope...A year or so from now when I have my sh*t in order I hope somethin 1/10th this good is being offered...I'd move!

i drove 2 hours to my apprenticeship, i moved closer and cut the time in half. and when i bring in more money and can go fulltime. ill move. and be fulltime. if you want it. youll do it. and it is hard (financially especially). but youll stick it out. and this does sound like a great apprenticeship. im confused though. is this like an "on the road" apprenticeship? cuz that sounds kinda fun. but i can see getting burnt out on each other quickly

My impression from the outside looking in is that a proper apprenticeship is such a close relationship that if the chemistry wasn't there, on the road or not, it wouldn't make a difference...wouldn't work.

good luck fellahs, its hard finding good help that will stick around but if anyone can do it I think you guys can...
