Sure...here is the best advice anyone will ever give you, wait till you are at least 18!!
No professional artist will tattoo anyone underage.
Well i dont know what Tim is talking about, come on up to Canada with your legal guardian and some ID to match and wel do it.
But yah, i waited till i was 18 and thats the best bet.
I dont know about the rest, but to me its not good thing tattooing under aged people even if they have parental approval. Thats not right. Your bodie will grow and the most important thing too=Your mind. 16 is NOT ready to be tattooed. Of course theres those 1/10000000, but they are 7years ahead in school and doing algebra in a lab ;) But I wouldnt be ok with it, even with a parental approval thing. I dont know what others think, who actually work in a shop?
I reiterate no PROFESSIONAL with any ethics or morals will tattoo anyone under 18 period.
Have to agree with Tim here. No tattoo artists should tattoo anyone under the age of 18. regardless of parent permission. for the reasons stated above, both body AND mind are not ready. The body is going through its most active period of growth at that age, any tattoo recieved has a very real chance of getting completely fucked as that persons body continues to grow and change. ive said it before imagine some kid at 16 getting a tattoo and two years later hes three inches taller and 20-30 pounds heavier. tattooing minors is just a risk that no professional should take just to make a few bucks, despite any permission given by the kids asshole parents.
Actually many professional artists will tattoo people under the age of 18, aslong as they have a parent or gaurdian present to sign a consent form, but seriously i would wait until i was older My husband got tattoos at the age of 14 and up and he will never show the one on his leg even though he chose it and he has a huge cover up on his arm in which there are 4 tattooos underneath it, he finally has the ones he wants but he regrets the others, and i am 22 yrs old and just got my first tattoo, Maybe u should do like i did, i wanted a tattoo when i was 16, but instead of a tattoo i got peircings instead which i still have, its better until you are absolutley sure of the tattoo you want, because, if you get your eye peirced u can always take it out, u cant reach down and take ur tattoo off when u get tired of looking at it.
ummmmm no!!!
As I said no REAL professional will even THINK about tattooing a minor no matter who signs! There a BUNCH of asswipes who will tattoo anyone but no REAL pro will do it...they don't have to, they have enough ADULT customers.
well just because a pro does tattoo someone under age who cares let that child make their mistake, and just because they dosen't mean they do not have morals or respect or skills or ne thing like that, maybe they just like tattooing so much they will do it on ne 1 lol....and alot of adults act like children when they walk into a tattoo shope so some of the probably figure whats the difference
Well i think everyone is different...everyones body grows different...I belive what yall are saying may be true i started on my legs when i was 16 and they still look great now that im almost 22...The kid asked for yalls opionion on a tattoo not his age..dont think i am trying to disrepect yall im just letting him and yall know that i started my tattoos young and still love them..=)
Much love,
DziNe
Yeah...and so.....?
This one is just for Tim at Panted Angel. Here goes...
All you kids! Don't listen to these dumbass adults! They don't know nuthin about nuthin anyways! And 'sides, they probably don't even know you anyhow and how mature you are. Just cause they were dumb when they were kids doesn't mean you are! And besides, being a kid today isn't like it was back then. So I say, go get anything you want. A playboy bunny would be best, but if you can't get that, get a neat tribal. And DON'T FORGET TO DO THE FACE! That there is some prime real-estate, and besides, only a pussy would forget to do his face!
You'll probably love it forever, but if you don't, just remember, down at PAINTED ANGEL, they always do cover-ups!
AL!!!
Where ya been man?
These kids have been missing your sage advice brah!
You have been neglecting them!
LOL!!!
hellya tattoos should be for all ages becuz it exsperes ur feels. they rock
I would suggest going to the thread about a 14 year old getting tattooed, everytime someone says "14" insert "16" and there's all the advice you need.
fighting online is like racing in the special olympics
even if you still win...you're still retarded
just thought i'd remind you all of that
anyways, on the topic of the tattoo at 16
well my friend got hers at 16 and she loves it
however, it's a really small one on her foot
if you're going to get one, play it smart
just make sure this isn't a phase or anything
and never regret something that once made you smile
im thinking about geting a tattoo at 16,which is in 4 months but i dont know were to go to get it
im thinking about geting a tattoo at 16,which is in 4 months but i dont know were to go to get it

Just find a drunken drug addled asshole who will tattoo you in his basement for $20,
Enjoy that case of AIDS or hep that you will get!!!
tim, thats not true.. there are tattoo parlors that WILL tattoo minors, with parental consent, and proof that they are the parents.. And, it doesn't mean that they are any less respectable, or have no morals, or anything of the sort. There are a lot of tattoo parlors that are very good at what they do, where I live in Virginia. If someone were 17, would you give them the same advice? And their doctor told them they weren't growing anymore? Probably not.. So my advice to you, is give advice, thats fine, but don't go telling kids what they can or can't do, without knowing the whole story..
tim what are you the tattoo police? and who decides who the REAL professional tattooers are? you? as long as you keep to the laws in your state and the parents sign off on it who cares?? all you boys at painted angel are too damn cocky and opinionated!! i agree that its best to wait til you're older and mature mentally but do we really all have to listen to you repeat your self righteous opinion every time an opposing one is stated?? get over yourself!!
